self-check out

Ok so i'm a huge fan of the Self-Check out line.... and I used to think it was the best thing ever...until..i started to see the flaws in the system...
especially when old ladies use it and the can't find the bar code... sometimes im ready to move them out the way and direct them to the nearest line with a cashier.
or how about when you use a credit card and the machine operator gives you the LOUD automated response: "Please use another card...that card can not be used at this time"...how rude.....lol..how come a red sign doesnt flash across the screen and politely tell you your card was declined...that would be so much nicer.
Or what about when you incorrectly scan an item and the system doesnt move it down the conveyer belt..it sounds off for an associate and make it look like your stealing..lol....however, there is one plus to using the self-check out line and thats when someone forgets to grab their change from the bottom of the machine.....lol

So I will continue using them regardless of the everyday hassles of a faster way to check out!
